The Lakes Vodka is distilled in the heart of The Lake District, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in England. Not far from Manchester, I feel a subtle sense of pride sipping on this – it feels good to know a brand from the UK, let alone so close by, is doing well for itself, and as well as you know if you’ve read here for a long time, I do like to support a local independent doing well for itself. The Lakes Vodka won ‘Best’ in the ‘Pure Neutral Vodka’ category, which led the brand to win ‘The World’s Best Vodka’. Cheers to that!
