Lulu Guinness Passport Holder

Lulu Guinness Passport Holder

As I’m sure you will have gathered if you’ve been following me on Twitter recently, I’m currently counting down the days until I set sail for a very special summer cruise. One of the most exciting things I’ve been doing to get ready for my holiday (and help build up the anticipation!) is gathering my most favourite vacation accessories to take with me. It is a very special holiday, after all. Today, I couldn’t wait to share with you one of my most special holiday items – my brand new designer passport cover… Say hello to my new pride and joy – my very own Lulu Guinness Passport Holder*.

Can I say I’m in love? It’s just so beautiful and perfectly made, and with the leather winking eye design on the front top and the huge lips design as you open the holder, it’s definitely Lulu Guinness’s signature style. On the back close, it also has a beautiful gold embossed logo – simple and subtle. As you guys know, I’m a huge fan of highstreet fashion and mixing my bargain clothing items with a special investment piece every once in a while, but I am by no means a designer-only gal. I like to save up and treat myself every once in a while by investing in an item I know will be used for years to come and go with almost any outfit. Although I was kindly gifted this item from MyBag from their range of Lulu Guinness Bags, the way I’m looking at this piece is no different. This beautiful passport holder is going to come on many holidays with me for years to come!

Lulu Guinness is a designer I’d always lusted after, but not quite saved up enough courage to splash the cash on one of her famous lipstick design clutch bags or lips suitcase (ultimate statement pieces, this Lulu Guinness Red Lips Perspex Clutch is the dream!). However, picking up smaller pieces that can be used often is a really nice alternative way of getting something more affordable and practical from one of your favourite designers, without having to empty your saving’s account. In fact, I was surprised to find out that this item was only £45, which makes it perfect for a birthday present – or dare I say, Valentine’s gift. Too soon? .
