MyBag Spring Summer Preview

MyBag Spring Summer Preview

There’s not much I enjoy more than sipping cocktails, nibbling food and browsing over the most beautiful designer handbags on the market right now. In fact, is there anything better? When MyBag invited me to preview their MyBag Spring Summer Preview collection of luxury accessories at Artisan in Spinningfields, it was a no-brainer. I cleared my Thursday night ready for an evening of pure handbag indulgence!

MyBag are one of my favourite online shops when it comes to designer accessories. Not only do they sell handbags (duh) but they also have a great collection of other luxury bits and bobs, such as sunglasses, watches and travel accessories. All items they stock are branded and if you like your posh bags, you’re in for a treat.

When I arrived at the Artisan private dining room on Thursday, I was swept into a lovely room full of fresh flowers and smiling bloggers. I was immediately offered a pink cocktail (yes – pink!) and grabbed a plate of Artisan nibbles to keep me going. Red Angel hair company was also there to offer free hairstyles before their launch in Manchester Arndale this week. As well as tons of networking to do with my best blogger gals, the most important thing to admire were the handbags.

MyBag’s Spring Summer Preview was just as wonderful as last season’s. With a whole range of designer handbags there were product appearances from Grafea, Loeffler Randall, Aspinal of London, Olivia Burton, KARL LAGERFELD, Rebecca Minkoff, Michael Kors, Ted Baker and more. Honestly, a handbag addict’s dream! It might be good for the eyes but not so great for my wallet!

Aside from a super generous goodie bag provided by MyBag (including a personalised luggage tag from the amazing Cambridge Satchel Company) and Lookfantastic (hello full sized beauty products and a Real Technique’s Bold Metals Brush), I went away craving my own new handbag purchase. My personal favourites included the Ted Baker bucket bags (seriously, who could guess they were from Ted?), the rainbow Grafea backpack (yes, rainbow) and most of all, the beautiful blush shade Lulu Guinness lips and lipstick collection. Eurgh, yes please.

hank you to MyBag for putting on a lovely event – the only downpoint is that now I’m going to have to start saving my pennies for a new handbag. Bye bye, bank balance, hello Lulu Guinness!
